Religion and Spirituality are two set of coins.
Spirituality and religion, are not the same. They are two set of coins (that can sometimes merge however).
Spirituality is delving into the text and finding the true meaning of the teaching. Religion is following it to the dot.
[On side note: if you have to teach a cave man how cell mitosis works or what electricty is, you’ld probably do it in parables because they have no basis to your teaching.]
Religion is (often) inherited, you inherit it from your parents. Unless upon landing into earth you decided to take it upon yourself to also read other “holy” texts such as tao, bhagavad gita, koran, etc., and then came to the conclusion of your set preference.
